Annapurna Sunrise Trek is also known as, Ghorepani poonhill trek or simply Poon Hill Trek. The morning sunrise view of the Himalayas from Poon Hill blows your mind away. This exciting trek reveals some of the best views of the Himalayas and is considered by many as the best viewpoint in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Poon Hill is a hill station which is popular for viewing sunrise and sunset. The trek starts from Nayapul after short drive from city called Pokhara. Then we will reach the beautiful village called Ghorepani, Ghorepani is a significant campsite for traders before it became a trekkers’ stop. Ghorepani is an attractive place with small shops and stalls for selling local products and craft. Next day early morning we will have a great sunrise view of the smiling mountains. Then trek back to Pokhara via through the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk, enjoy the ethnic hospitality of the local people and mix with the cultural magnificence of Gurung Museum. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trek Preparation
Day 03: Fly to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) and trek to Ulleri (2050m/6725 ft): 30 min flight and 6 hours trek
Day 04: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft): 4 – 5 hours trek
Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft) with a visit to Poon Hill: 6 – 7 hours
Day 06: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft): 3 – 4 hours
Day 07: Ghandruk to Pokhara: 4 hours trek and 1 hour drive
Day 08: Fly to Kathmandu
